Metro High School hosts 2-3 blood drives each school year for Impact Life Blood Center. We had great student recruiters talk with classes about the importance of blood donations. One donation of blood can help 4 people! Donations collected by Impact Life stay in our community!
We had several student donors, lots of staff, and a few community members take their time to pay it forward with their blood donations. By reaching our goal of 20 successful donations, Metro will earn scholarship dollars from Impact Life to pass along to a graduating senior.
