Thanks to the generosity of the Cedar Rapids Community Schools Foundation, Metro’s Theatre students attended a showing of Carrie the Musical at Theatre Cedar Rapids last Thursday, October 10. Theatre teachers, Sarah Stimmel and Caitlin Becker were looking for a fun and spooky experience to go along with their theme this Quarter, FEAR! Students who attended were in awe of all the performances, the space, and of course the blood. In class, students have been working through personal writing workshops and performing scary stories.
